Start with the system
The Hydra under-sink unit is the part that does the filtering. It fits under a standard kitchen sink, plumbs into the cold line, and reduces PFAS, lead and chromium-6, the contaminants that turn up above health guidelines across the DC metro.
Then the filters
Carbon block filters handle chlorine, taste and sediment, and protect the RO membrane behind them. They are consumables: most households change them once a year, sooner if your water is hard or heavily chlorinated.
