Clean water is a local mission.
Sanavia was founded by five people who grew up in the DMV. When we learned what was quietly affecting our neighbors' drinking water, we couldn't look away, so giving back to this community is built into how we operate.
Free community water testing
We offer free in-home water tests to DMV households so families can understand exactly what's in their tap water, no purchase required.
Cutting plastic-bottle waste
Every system we install replaces thousands of single-use plastic bottles a year. We're committed to helping our neighbors reduce plastic waste across the region.
Water-quality education
We publish free, plain-English water reports for every DMV community so residents can make informed decisions. See our local water reports.
Arlington Bunny Hop, Spring 2026
The Arlington Bunny Hop is a volunteer-run charity 5K that has raised more than $164,000 for local Arlington causes, including $31,000 for Bridges to Independence in 2025. We were proud to pour fresh, filtered water for the record 735 runners at the 2026 race, and to talk with neighbors about what's really in their tap water.

As featured in Arlington Magazine
Arlington Magazine featured Sanavia in its “Top 5 Reasons to Filter Your Family's Drinking Water”, a look at what's in local water and why more DMV families are moving to reverse osmosis.
